ABOUT OUR SCHOOL
The Madhumangol Memorial Higher Secondary School is a co-education school, established in 2000, is committed to academic excellence and holistic education. Under the visionary leadership of its Chairman, Wangkheimayum Pholendro Singh, the school has adapted and grown significantly. Initially recognized as a senior secondary school by COSEM, Government of Manipur, in 2003, the school responded to community demand and applied for CBSE affiliation, which it obtained in 2006. This enabled the school to offer education up to the Senior Secondary level and aligned it with national educational standards.
The first batch of students appeared for the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 examinations in 2008, marking the school’s commitment to academic rigor. The school emphasizes extracurricular activities, offering various clubs and societies, and encouraging participation in sports to foster physical fitness and team spirit. Community service and social responsibility are integral to the school’s ethos, with students engaging in initiatives that develop empathy and civic duty. The School is situated at a distance of 2 kilometres from the heart of Imphal city, in Wangkhei, Imphal East, Manipur, India.
